Review--Active autowerke headers, tune, with exhaust and intake

I have a 2006 330i and wanted something to give my car a little more excitement even tho I loved my e90 as is, I thought it was time to give it a little makeover...I just want to say that ACTIVE AUTOWERKE is a class act company... I emailed them with a few questions about the headers and being able to pass emissions still and just overall concerns I had with the negative consequences if any a tune might have on my vehicle.. The next day Andrew called me and responded to any questions or concerns I may have had... After speaking with him I decided to orderthe headers with the tune and the simon3 with 02 bypAss so I can transfer files to my own ecu back and forth if necessary...i had a Remus power sound exhaust and dinan intake which was all taken into account with 93 octane gasoline and the headers...they sent me the file for my particular setup after I read my ecu and sent it to them...I followed The instructions on the site after emailing back and forth with plenty of little questions for them they were always responding promptly and helping me through the hole process...I have to say that I was a bit concerned after I installed the tune and cleared out all the old trouble codes I had on the ecu the car was still idling a bit rough but after I drove around for about a day and started the car the next morning it was magically calm and purring like it did be4....I know about the rough idle with these cars And how many different little things can cause it which can be a nightmare to detect....but I have to say it's been a few days now and everything is running smooth....my car sounds awesome but more importantly it drives like I always imagined it should... The gas pedal is a lot more responsive and the car is noticeably faster to accellerate...it revs higher but it's all smoothly done like as if bmw had programmed it like this from the factory... I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that this is def worth the money for the upgrade and that I am enjoying my car more and more daily...these guys are there with you every step of the way if you have issues which is the most important part of it all....they stand behind their product which makes it worthwhile...only a company that knows they have a good product would be willing to stand by it like they do....cheers to them, they are doing cool things for us bmw enthusiasts....I just want to make sure that be4 you do this I would suggest you know that your car is in good condition...and that it has been maintained properly over the years...of it has any issues I suggest you work those out first...my cars computer took a day to adapt to the changes properly but when it did it was smooth sailing....hope this can help anybody who was on the fence about making this move....so far I am loving it!

....the headers were quality..fitment was perfect with no problem....all welds were super clean....to be honest i was not expecting anyless....I wish I could post some pics from my iPhone....,no leaks whatsoever around gasket....people talk very highly of the super sprint headers....I wish I could compare the 2 side by side...but I am pretty sure active autowerke already did that when they made these headers...word is when you upgrade headers they are known to leak eventually around the gaskets...only time will tell....

Read a few words at the beginning of the mega paragraph, a few at the middle and the end, summarized version, what I've understood:
1. Make sure that your car is in order before modifying (that's for any car btw)
2. AA has good service and headers seem of good quality

Thanks OP.

Now, how long did they take to install for those of you that had a shop do it? Mine are still waiting in storage to be put on. Was going to do them myself but I broke my hand recently. I'd like to get them in before wintertime but want to know about how much I'll have to pay in labour.

Any updates on this? How are the headers holding up? Any complaints or comments?

Would appreciate the feedback!
