Big thank you to European Auto Source

For oil change and a tune up. Change spark plugs and looking under and around car to find
Coolant leaking and finding the problem.
Poor poor design of line welding holding latch. ( Thank you BMW) a hairline crack... This will happen to any year

nice writeup, can you please outline what speakers you put where in the end and how it worked out. I'd love to upgrade my stereo, but dont fancy a woofer under the mat, I'd just love to put some more quality parts in there.

I tried to update the 6x9 with a Kenwood peak power 600 / RMS power 115
But OEM 6x9 sounded a little better..
I used Posi -Tap. Too tap to the speaker wire and use
MB Quart 5.25 (one) enough space behind the 6x9, it might fit two of the same size ///
Sounds good. Sometimes a little rattle...
Hope that helps

Can you explain what was done to fix this? I went to the dealer today with the EXACT problem and they are saying my CPO does not cover repair as it does not cover "rubber hoses" this is obviously NOT a rubber hose... I requested the part number they are using for the repair in the CPO system and it does not appear to be a metal pipe either. I am concerned they are attempting to file it as one item just to get me to pay for it out of pocket.

Sorry for the late response. The shop did replace the coolant line . Redid the coolant liquid back in the car .

I think yours is the 11-15-8-623-083 VENT HOSE:111060

I think this was the cause of my engine overheating from coolant loss. BMW covered replacement of engine and coolant system.

Crazy that your dealer is squabbling over warranty coverage -- lucky you caught it in time!
