This would piss me off so much, the dealership here took my car on a 15mile "test drive" and I gave them sh*t for it, I haven't had problems since then. But this is on a whole different level...

Both Techs should be fired. Any Tech at the dealership that knew this was going on and did not bring it to Managements attention should also be fired.

Look up keychain 808 camera for a cheap solution. You'll need to keep the battery charged. I did it hiding it with a USB cable running to a battery.

It was only temporary.
Wedged it in the passenger side backseat headrest aimed diagonally at the driver. Easily was able to see the driver, and the gauges etc. Worked really well.

FWI, there are a lot of really good "spy cameras" that are out now that can be had for really cheap, and most are remote that you can have the input either recorded or sent to your monitor at home.

They range from stuffed teddy bears, to pin cameras that you can place practically anywhere with a small piece of double sided tape. Most of them are so small anymore that you can't see them even in plain view.
