I need help deciding!
So I think the only people that can truly help me with this is you guys.
So here's the dilema; I'm getting a 335is next month regardless. The only problem is I can't decide between these 2. Let me tell you about these two cars Both cars have about the same packages, both about the same miles, and both about the same price. The first car, is Le Mans Blue/Black Dakota color scheme, and it has a bit less miles. This car is a family friend's and we know that she didn't abuse it or anything along the lines of that. We also know that there has been 2 small accidents that have both been fixed with OEM parts. The second car, is Jet Black/Coral Read color scheme. This car has rear window tints, black rims, straight pipe, and other small nice things. We do not know this person and how he drove the car, but he also has had 2 minor accidents which were both fixed. Now, my heart really desires the black one, but my family is telling me to go with the blue one. I really don't know what to do. I have to have a solid choice by the 1st of November. Another other things you'd like to know to better help me choose between these cars please let me know in the comments. Thank you so much in advance, have a wonderful day. |

That's the thing, I prefer the black one but I don't know if it was kept as well as the blue one. One was in the rear bumper, just a dent that was fixed. the other was when a driver side swiped him and he had to replace the right panel above the wheel. There's lots of scratches around the car too, and under the front bumper is a bit scratched up but what do you except.

I voted for bat mobile. I'm sure it was taken well care of.

I would say get the Le Mans Blue one
1. not abuse 2. accident fixed with OEM parts 3. Black car had replace right panel above the wheel and lots of scratches around the car too (like you said) Also, if you prefer the black 335is is because "rear window tints, black rims, straight pipe, and other small nice things." Since you can afford a 335is, money is not really a problem to you, you can get the lemansblue and do the exact same things to it. It may not look as badass as the black one is, but its your own personal fav and creation..etc.etc Go for the blue car! |

Is there any way to find out if there is or will be any major problems that the warranty won't cover in the future. Like an inspection or something?

Both look great but how much time do you want to spend keeping the black one clean? The blue won't show the dirt as much. I guess it doesn't really matter. It never rains in California anyway.

Definitely the LeMans blue. First, it is a beautiful color. second, you know the history of the car. Third, take it from a guy that owns two black cars (328i and S2000). They are a pita to keep nice and clean. A couple of hours are you clean and wax, the dust starts to show, fingerprints show, you name it.

Do you want the black one because you like black > blue? Or because it's slightly modded? If it's because of the mods then you should just get the blue one and mod it yourself. Also, do you need to run cats in your state? If yes, then that will be an issue down the line.
Personally I would always pick the bone stock car vs the modded one unless it had some insane mods that I was going to get anyways. I tend to think modded cars are owned by car enthusiasts and are usually driven/thrashed harder than cars owned by non enthusiasts

Oh no that's fine in California it's legal, if I end up getting the blue one I'd do the same thing to it.
