Ordering a 2013 335is Need Help!
I have researched all over and I cant get any real info on the difference between the stock wheels vs the 19" upgrade besides the obvious price & size difference. I have read a number of posters saying that the 18's are cast and the 19" 313's are forged but there is no solid proof. As far as I know the 19's seem like more of a headache. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I know the 4 series hasn't been officially released but I feel like it will be a little bloated. Car looks more like it is geared towards luxury and not performance. I like the look of the 335is much better.

Just got mine 3 weeks ago but chose 18's for obvious reasons living in the N.East (Horrible road conditions) 18's ride better too with more cushion and don't forget RFT's ride hard. Love the look of the 19's and seeing you live in FLA. these issues really shouldn't matter and yeah heard the same are the 19's forged or not and the answer is...They are not and if they were they would be more than a 1k upgrade. Good luck with the "Is" Awesome car,What color??? By the way if they were forged I would have em.

19s will look better - I'm pretty sure both sets are cast, not forged. I'm running 19s in horrible NOVA, without any issue. I keep my 18" set for winters. I'd go 19s if I were you...

I would go with 19's if the tire selection was bigger, I looked on Tirerack and the 18s have 4 times the selection and pricing is a lot better! I know the 19's will look better but they will be heavier, rougher ride and they will hinder the performance a little.

I have the 19s and so far so good. Nothing to compare to though so I guess I'm no help for you lol. The 19s do look pretty nice though

Anyone know the reason that the 18's dont have the M logo and the 19's do?

The 19" looks great, but the ride is harsh with the stock rfts. Suppose to be forged from BBS, but don't know if that is true or not. I believe it's true because I have it
18" has a better ride, still harsh but not too bad. |

Just keep in mind, 19inch tire prices are more expensive.
Not to mention running around on rubber band RFT's.... your back is going to feel jittery .

Certainly less tires choices for the 19s but they do look SWEET. I picked up my 2013 335is 3 weeks ago and am glad I chose the 19s. Gives the car more presence. I don't find the 19s in the slightest bit too harsh or rough but I came from a G37S sedan which had a much stiffer suspension.
Here's a pic of my Alpine White with the 19s. |
