Seriously, we average (according to bimmerpost's seach function) ten threads a month in OT on the iPhone. Do we really need a new thread every time something iPhone related happens? I'm not an iPhone hater, it'd just be nice if some of these threads were consolidated. Maybe an "official iphone thread" would help?

IIRC, you have to use the 3.0 fw file though. Sure you can jb a phone with the 3.0.1, but you still use the 3.0 ipsw file. Just did it a week or two ago, tried the 3.0.1 ipsw, and said it didn't recognize the file. Tried 3.0 and it worked.
