Finally lowered!
Just finished install of Eibach pro kit springs with my Koni's
Install was a pain but all in all not that bad. Def need a good spring compressor (mine broke - very old). So I bought this setup used. Springs had 15k on them. As well as front shocks and rears were brand new. Install tip : whenever buying used auto parts, never assume all pieces are there or fit : reason being that we took off rear shock and tried to use OEM hex nut on koni's!!!!!!!! NO!!!!! The oem hex but was a course thread and koni's uses fine thread nut!!! Sooooo,......the nut started then broke right off. Leaving me with about an inch less threads on shock!!!!! = pissed off!!!! We got the right hex nut from store then grinded down the mangled part of shock and threaded it on. Driving : Corners way better than before. No more floatiness, took bumps in road like a boss. Def feels more connected with road. Wish I did it sooner!!! Here are before and after pics |
