Evolution of BATMAN
I know I'm not the only Batman fan here on this wonderful website that takes too much of my time. Zack Snyder recently let out a couple shots of Batfleck from the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie. I've included those below. I thought it would be fun to take a spin down memory lane and look at some old bat costumes and his old rides so here ya go:
Now lets bring them both together, costumes and rides that is. Here's a released shot of batman with his new batmobile:

I like how he is getting burly, like Dark Knight Returns (Frank Miller) style. I'm excited and will see the movie.

Keaton's Batman and TAS Batman is the best imo as far as Batman, Catwoman and the Batmobile go.

Keaton was able to be awkward and clumsy as Bruce yet became his true serious self as Batman while behind the mask. The Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman was the same way. No other actors have been able to show such a difference between the personalities. No one will ever top Pfeiffer as Catwoman in demeanor or wardrobe.

Salton Sea is actually good. But it might just be Vincent Denofrio.

For the most part, I think everything about the batman movies can be discarded/disregarded between when Keaton and Bale were at the helm.

The conversation in the costume department for the Clooney films must have gone something like this:
Costume Designer: The suit looks great but it's missing something... Costume Fabricator: Hmm... maybe more defined abs? CD: No, that's not it... CF: Bigger biceps? CD: No, that's not it either. We really need him to look like a superhero. CF: Pointier ears? CD: No, I've got it! Nipples!! CF: I'm sorry, it sounded like you said nipples... CD: YES! Nipples! CF: ......................................

I like Batman due in large part to the psychology behind the character. His equipment and technology is cool as well although, admittedly, some of the movies should be forgotten embarrassments. Captain America is cool too but for much different reasons. How long have you been a fan of his? Please tell me it's not just since Captain America 1 or 2 movies |

And for the Bat cars are an embarrassment except for Bales - but honestly, Bale's Batman is no match for movie Captain America. I just think Batman's superpowers and abilities are from writers making him godlike, which is quite annoying. |

I'm not showing this to make any points, it is just a Captain America from the 1970s and we're talking about embarrassing vehicles: |
