i need help fixing my ipod....

i think this is the right section........
but if not, sorry. admin. please move it to where it belongs. thank you.

I have 30gb video ipod. ( not sure what generation and what not)
but i get no audio, everything else works fine.
then i have placed it in front of air conditioner for like 5 minutes then the audio comes on. but..... if i remove it from the air conditioner then the audio goes away. i always leave my ipod in my car, and this happened during summer time, so i guess it was too hot for ipod???
anyways i haven't touched it since, and now im tired of burning cds.
so i'm trying to see if i can if it.

any help would be great.

That's the first time I've ever heard about that. I did merc my friend's iPod with my car a few days ago. He had to reformat the entire thing.

yeah. i googled and searched through some ipod forums.
but couldn't find jack on it. i guess it's not a common problem for ipod.
hopefully, i can get it fixed.

well...
i fixed my psp when it was bricked by just simply replacing the motherboard.
so... i'm thinking if i know what part to replace then i can just do it myself.
if not, i'll just send it to apple.
but i thought i give it a try.
