Gas Price Protest

I just thought I'd post this letting everyone know who doesn't know that there is an organized protest for gas nationwide. It will take place on May 15th. So if you want to join, don't put gas on you car on May 15th. Spread the word or lose your cash!!!

hmm. interesting. considering ppl could fill up the day before. or the day after. either way they still make their money. it doesnt work out logically. srry, im going to go ahead and pass. plus. i pay 1 dollar per gallon. haha. actually a little bit less.

a) how do you pay 1 dollar a gallon b) maybe that has something to do with you driving a 320i while in the states our lowest is the 328i

Although I am skeptical about this actually causing any sort of reaction from the gas companies, I am still going to try my best to remember not to pump May 15th

unless you cut down the amount you drive, they will end up with the same amount of money sooner or later in the week/month.

1 day...will do nothing...1 year, 'may' change the way the oil industry looks at the consumer....but protests are useless. Get people to change what cars they buy, how they drive, when they drive, and educate people on the world's thirst for oil fuels...now that will make an impact.

The 14th largest oil producing and refining company in the world STILL made over $1B profit last year...14th largest...!!!

You're just pissing in the volcano man...the only way to stop it is to shift the world...

i do'nt know about your guys, i'm not putting gas in my car that day. A couple of friends of mine are doing the same thing. It may not be enought to change the country in gas pricings, but i'm doing something about it, even if it doesn't work. Me personally, i am completely comfortable filling up my gas tank every week in a half. Financially it has not effected me, BUT lower gas prices can only help the pocket.

That makes more sense. The best strategy is to DRIVE less on the 15th. Everyone filling up their car on the 14th won't hurt the oil companies one bit.

I'm sorry, but people who buy a $40k+ auto have no right to complain about the price of gas. We already have some of the lowest prices for gasoline in the modern world, to complain about an extra $20/mo in gas is disengenious.

For those of you who live in Calif. Blame your gov't officials for their boutique gas which is only made/sold in california.
