I think BMW plays a recording of a mustang engine.
The mustang plays a recording of its own mustang engine JK

Seems upgrading the headunit and losing that abominable fake engine sound would be a GOOD thing, not disappointing.
They are saying a good thing and making it sound bad. They never should have made the four cylinder mustang in the first place. I honestly don't think the car should have even been released with the V6 years ago. It's a muscle car FFS. They should be slapping bigger engines into it, not smaller. You telling me it's not possible to make a more efficient V8? Apparently they need to go talk to Chevy and Dodge. Good plan: Three versions of the Mustang. 5.0, 302 Boss, SVT/Shelby. No need for this i4/V6 nonsense. You have the Focus/Fusion/Taurus for that.
