The B&R is particularly handsome in my opinion.

Those look pretty nice. They kinda remind me of the Panerai watches (somewhat similar styles). However, I'm pretty much set on the Omega Seamaster (either professional or the 300M). Now I'm trying to decide between automatic and quartz. It seems like the automatic is the way to go. However, I don't know if I can stomach the price difference.

About $1500 for quartz and about $2300 for automatic- $800 difference.

If you're just looking for a timekeeper, go quartz. If you're looking for a really nice watch that you'll enjoy for years, and are at all intriqued by the mechanicals of an automatic, then the $800 difference is worth it.

If you're gonna go quartz don't spend any more than $50 or so on Any watch. (srs). If you're gonna get yourself a nice watch buy auto. or manual wind only.

So these are the two that I'm trying to choose between. I decided to go with an automatic like you guys have advised. I guess the first one has the new co-axial escapement while the latter doesn't (but it does have a stop watch function). Prices are about the same for both.

Yeah I thought I was set on the black but the blue one is starting to grow on me. Especially in that 3rd pix of the first watch. It looks pretty damn sexy.

Yeah I reallllly like the design. However, it only comes in one size which might be too big for my wrist. Also, it doesn't have the co-axial escapement (which extends the service intervals to like 10 years instead of 4-5 and is supposed to be more accurate as well). I really like the design though. Blue chrono diver I mean...I have a blue non chrono (not omega, Seiko) and used to wear it every day but it just doesn't look casual enough IMO. So I bought that Guess I posted on the first page for like 1/5 the price and wear that daily now...it's much louder but much more casual...I'm currently looking for something in the "middle ground" but not crucial. Whatever you get post it up here, I'm sure you will

You really can't go wrong with any of the watches you picked out above.

The last two have cronograph functionality obviously, and use the Omega caliber 1164 movement. The 1164 is a reworked ETA/Valjoux 7750 with an updated bridge, heavier rotor, and rhodium plating. It has 25 jewels that are used to reduce friction at key points in the movement. All 25 jewels are functional IIRC, the movement is well tested and rock solid.

The other (coaxial) watches use the Omega caliber 2500 movement and is a reworked ETA 2892 movement. The 2500 contains two more jewels than the 1164 bringing the total to 27. You could write a book on this movement, as it represents a major advancement in watchmaking.

The caliber 2500 is the more special of the two, IMO. I wouldn't necessarily give up the chronograph functionality solely for this reason however should you prefer or require it.

Both movements meet the chronometer specification outlined by COSC.

P.S. I prefer the black face, but of course it's really your preference that matters, and you should make sure that you are 100% happy with whatever you buy. Good luck.
