Not going, but went in 2013. It was a good experience!

Tickets have gotten expensive over the years.

Did you stay for both weekends? This will be my first time going, so I'm pretty pumped. I just graduated from the University of Miami back in May, and for whatever reason, I never went during my 4 years down there. So I'm determined to make this worthwhile, haha.

And yeah, seems that way. GA is actually around $50 cheaper this year. I was pre-registered for Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets, but wasn't able to order them in time. :/

Not from what I've heard, ha. EDM has come a long way since the "boots and cats" techno stuff. I'm excited, lol.

And yeah, Ultra's been up around the $300-$500 range for the past few years now.

Second weekend. Can't do 2 weekends lol, 3 days is way more than enough.

Nowadays anything over 1 day is tough for me.

I really want to!

Went to Firefly this past June, wanted to go to Ultra

Just too far, and my college's Spring Break didn't line up with Ultra, so would've had to miss a few days of school

That price is a joke... I went in 2010 and paid $129 for all 3 days. Went the first 2 days and sold the 3rd day for $70... net costs = $59 lol.

My opinion of ultra-

1) go only once to see all flavors of artists in one spot
2) each artists individual show in a different venue will be better and longer... this was the case for Tiesto, Armin and a few others that I saw both at Ultra and later elsewhere
3) kids... kids everywhere...
4) You have to either be hammered or do drugs... that's simply the basis of this event.
5) it's really intense if you go all 3 days, from early on to night... especially in March in Miami where it could be up to 90F

Yeah, prices over the past two or three years have skyrocketed. As with attendance, ha. VIP tickets this year are like $1,150. I really wish I had gone while I was at UM. A LOT of my friends went. I've just heard it's an awesome experience. I plan on drinking a little bit one day, doing some MDMA another day, and staying sober one day. Just gotta stay hydrated and monitor how much of whatever you're doing. Apparently last year, people would get so drunk or be rolling so hard that they wandered out around the edge of the water, fell in, and drowned. From what I heard, Miami PD (the ones that patrol out in the bay) were pulling bodies out of the water. :| That's why I'm being extra careful, haha.
