Bacteria cause bacterial infections and viruses cause viral infections. They're not the same.

It shares VERY similar software. I would imagine after the year it was released the guy would expand on it. I would say that Microsoft derived their concept from the one I posted. There are way too many similarities to say they created it all their own.
