I was like WTF??? I was not sure if it was her or not but I add her to my MSN. yes it was her my very first GF I meet her when I was 13 she was 12 after being together for like a year or so she move to another country, that was the last time that I saw her or talk to her. I remember crying for the next 3 weeks or so. I used to love her so much. Now after 7 years !!! I talk to her again this is one of the happiest day of my life. hopefully she is going to come over the summer to visit do you guys think is going to work out again ? here is a picture that she send me today

Well thats great, I really wish you would have had a few relationships becuase they really are important in teaching you things about love and respect for others and they just generally give you a feel for how it should all flow. Just remember, love means respecting eachothers needs and also agreeing and growing on mutal needs. Always keep a cool head, never yell or fight as it will never get you anywhere, trust me i've learned alot through out the years from long term relationship to relationship. AND TAKE THINGS SLOW, people change A LOT in 7 years and I know your dying to just jump into things but just take it slow. You need to really get a feel for one another before you just jump into something. And I know what its like to have great convos with someone and think and feel like you know them and everything, but still just take it easy. And remember, dont be all soggy and mushy or too nice all the time, though girls say they want men who do all that, they still prefer "men" so stay tough. All in all i absolutely wish the best for you, its seriously one of the best feelings in the world when you really hit it off with someone, get into a relationship, fall in love, stay in love, and make it work. Its also one of the most important things in having a happier life. So im happy for you man, good luck

No.
There's a reason why she's an ex. Don't get caught up with a relationship that was 7 years ago. Befriend her, but don't jump into anything, and don't expect anything from it. I find it rather odd that you haven't spoken in 7 years. That in itself should make you quite cautious. Good luck. Keep your expectations low, especially for someone you haven't talked to in forever. If someone from high school confessed their love for me right now after not talking to them for quite some time, I'd laugh in their face. |

From the sound of it, there is a possibility she will visit, but there is no plan for her to move to the U.S. Of course, if everything clicks during the visit, that could prompt a move. It looks like there are a couple kids in the photo. Are they hers? The teen years can change a person a lot. I would think you would be meeting a very different person than you knew. It might be best to treat it as a new relationship with a good first impression. It's really not quite the same thing, but one of my first girlfriends was when I was six years old (she was eight). We were together for two years. My family moved across town and ended that relationship. Years later (when I was 12 or 13 years old in 7th grade) she came up to me at school and asked if I knew who she was. I told her I did, but left it at that. I should have pursued that relationship again to at least see if there was anything there. Since she was in ninth grade, there were no classes we could share, and I never saw her again. |

I hooked up with my first girlfriend about 10 years after we broke up and after all that waiting and imagining, it was hardly up to expectations. However it was some strange and at the time it seemed like the right thing to do. It's now been about 4 years since we hooked up again and we still talk and see each other on occassion.
I say, give it a chance...if it works out great!! if not, oh well.

Just curious, are you really going to make a decision based on the majority of votes in this thread?
