Playing away?! is it really worth it

kept seeing a girl around town (in the cars) and we kept smiling at each other for over a week now, yesterday she shouted out her window for me to meet her at the supermarket, she followed me in but went to the pumps i went to the shop, i bottled it and drove out...

today saw her again and she asked me to take her out in the 335d, she liked it anyhow was only with her for 10 misn and she wanted my telephone number, i said i would take hers

to me it seemed she was pretty interested

but she then asked if i had a gf, being an honest guy who really struggles to lie i said

kind of

she just said

'ok then'

well she then thanked me for the drive,

where do i go next, i have been with my GF for 3 1/2 years, its getting dull buti do love her and do care bout her!!

do i play away or have i got to stop thinking the grass is always greener

have you guys ever had any previous experiances liek this??

Why don't you be honest with yourself and k.i.s.s. (Keep It Simple Stupid). Are you willing to accept the loss of your long-term relationship in exchange for another possible long-term relationship or short-term fling?
It's like a game of 21...just a gamble is all. If you're willing to accept the loss, do it. If not, don't. I just don't see relationships as being so complicated.
Remember. There will always be someone prettier, younger, more exciting, richer...(fill in the blank). If you love your girl and y'all have a good thing going, monotany isn't always a bad thing. In fact can be a very good thing. Think about it carefully and don't take that next step if you're not willing to accept the potential consequences.

May I also add this little tid-bit for you to think about. Being single sucks, it's hard. Sometimes it's fun and sometimes it's lonely. It also depends on how old you are. If you're in your 30's you will need to think differently.

Everyone, men and women, appreciate a beautiful person. But remember, it only lasts so long. When you're old or sick or going through a traumatic time, who will really be there for you? Likely your lady. If things are boring, talk about it and spice it up a little. Over three years, you're still together...hmm, must be somthin' good!

OK, I'll play too.....if you even had the inkling that something was going to happen with this mystery girl, you are not committed to your current relationship. I think you need to look deep inside your heart and determine if your current GF is the one for you. If you still have doubts, play away and one day you might find out that what you have now was the best thing that ever happened to you. OTOH, you may find out that you almost made a terrible mistake and your "dream girl" is still out there.

No one said this "love thing" is an easy game to play. Just try not to get anybody hurt. Including yourself.

This story feels just like me. Well minus the girl chasing me down at the supermarket haha.

Been with my current g/f 3.2 years. But as of lately I find myself thinking if she is "the one". It's to the stage were the only progression is to get engaged. I have the diamond(family heirloom), and have the ring picked out I just can't drag myself to go order it haha. She really is a great girl but there are some things that bother me. Nothing huge and it's prolly more me being picky.

I just always get the thought that I never got to experience the single life. I'll be 24 next month and went from a 2.5 year relationship almost straight into this 3 year one. I did get a little chance to mess around inbetween the 2 but not enough haha. I'm young, fairly successful so far, able to get a house once I find the one I want and have a BMW haha I've got the chance lol.

Oh well, enough about my mess. The grass will always be greener somewhere else.

But like Ste92ve said, might be a mistake, might be a good thing. That's something only y'all can decide.
Beautiful women are a dime a dozen, just look at all the avatars!
Great women however, are few and far between. If you've got a great one, might want to reconsider playing the field.

No but for real thats fucked up, just try what i do...dont do things you wouldnt want her to do with or without you. And if you really love her then you wouldnt be willing or even thinking about playing these games, let alone make a thread about it

well its annoyign really that i took her number especially as she asked for mine, its killed all the fun from waiting for the first text which undoubtedly woudl have been onyl a few hours when she got home, havign slept on it, (addmitedely not very well) i havent got the bollocks to text her and its too close to home...

here is myself and my gf of nearly 4 years on new years eve in a club.

i am only young i am 23 for those who dont know!

Dude, she looks like she's head over heels for you. I got married at 22 and still married after 29 years. She's a real cutie and unless you have real issues about your relationship (not the small crap that comes with every one), if you don't snap her up, some other guy will come along and then you'll be left holding nothing!
