08 Lexus IS release

I know this is BMW forum...but any idea when the 08 Lexus IS 250 might be in showrooms...or at least when brochures will be out...

IS250 will be in Showrooms early January. Toyota is having a hard time producing enough RE344 power steering pumps so the release has been delayed.

Also there is a Japanese embargo in place on Korean manufactured DOT7 Indicator Fluid. This is going to have serious implications across all Japanese exports including the Lexus IS series which was one of the early adopters of the Dot 7 Spec.

save your self the trouble and a bunch of cash and just buy a Camry they are just as equally ugly. The tailend theme really gets old fast, the initial take on the Lexus, was that is iteresting. Now when I see one I can ony think Toyota ...boring.

Don't get me wrong. Sometimes it's warranted. Obviously a lot of people come here and post w/o even searching or trying at all.

But sometimes the main threads have like 25 pages with conflicting info and lots of scattered information and it's not clear at all to someone who reads 25 pages what the answer is. I don't really think it's that big of a deal to answer a couple of common questions that have been addressed before.

All I'm saying is that this is supposed to be a community that helps one another. But sometimes people are just pricks to one another for no reason.

to those who give mean responses to questions, why do you bother to write out a response for 10 minutes which serves absolutely no purpose???

People like you guys crack me up. What url do you see at the top of your screen? E90POST.COM. Not carpost.com, not importcars.com, not any other url that might indicate that we want to talk about cars of other brands. Maybe once in a while when there's something special to talk about, or in comparison to the BMW we'll talk about it. But a post about a Lexus release date with absolutely NOTHING to do with BMW?

Of course we're BMW fans. If you want something else, go elsewhere.

I'm not against Lexus...I'm against random posts in the GENERAL E90 FORUM about Lexus release dates.

I hate Toyota because they rip their designs off. Look at the back of the new Camry with its down turned tail lights like a 5 series and it's raised trunk lid like a 7.
