I really like that set up. I am looking to fabricate a remote system like that for my nova. STSturbo sells premade kits and universal kits.

No need for a muffler as the turbo acts as a muffler. No need to fabricate a special header/exhaust manifold. Lower temps. All the added weight is back over the rear. Probably not ideal for a daily driver, but for a street/strip car, this is a great set up

Not much lag at all. The turbos are set up to run in a remote location.

Could you elaborate a little? I can see why they would want those turbo's away from the engine bay (they probably get a hell of a lot more air flow down there) but that is a crazy amount of plumbing. The turbo's look small and a V10 could probably flow enough as well.

They can toss those wheels in the junkyard if they want. Put something on else on there please!

I don't drink, smoke, eat in my car, ever. And I don't hold the hand of my GF of her thigh or anything else unless there is traffic or stoped in a traffic light. When the car moves, I'm meant to drive it both hands... and god I do it with pleasure

Kudos!

Well its generally an easier and cheaper set up as you are using the stock exhaust manifold/header and are basically just fabing a mount and your piping. It appears to be a lot of piping, but its not that bad. Keep in mind you aren't running an intercooler (some applications will still incorporate one), so you lose that piping length. The intake charge is much cooler being less cramped and out of the engine bay. They also utilize a smaller compressor to help spool up things faster.

Thumbs down NO!!!!

This "car" is a running joke on the M5board.

The turbo kit they are using is available for most applications for around $10,000.

A M5Board member was visiting an ECU tuner and apparently the company doing this M5 was asking this ECU tuner to do the work for this car.

No one believes that you can add boost to a 12:1 compression ratio engine without detonation.

The clowns are trying to sell this car for $350,000!!!! Some rag said the interior is $100,000....look at how awful it is.

And finally, it is suspected some scammer is behind this latest effort.

How RMS and Osh are even alive, let alone still in business, COMPLETELY boggles me mind. Its like the 8th wonder of the world. They have no idea what they are doing, have destroyed numerous customers cars and scammed people out of 100K's of cash.

And that turbo setup is a joke, the lag has to be phenomenal. Hell, even the intake in the back bumper, that is an incredibly low pressure zone at speed.

And, having the turbos outside the engne bay doesnt do that much for lowering temps, most of the heat in the turbo output is because of air compression, not because it is techincally running through the exhaust. (A long time ago, before I read up, I used to think otherwise)
