Where can i buy a N54 Engine?

Shop diagnosed my car after some tests with either a cracked cylinder head or cracked block. im looking at 5800 if its cylinder head or 7900 if it is the block ( with labor) . Maybe its cheaper just to swap a new engine in? anyone know how much they may run for ? thanks ...

Seems like same ballpark based on a quick look on eBay.

Have another shop give you another opinion. A leak down test would tell you one way or the other and those would be the least likely cases for issues with compression loss two bottom end or cooling system. If it is windowed it would also be obvious. I wish you luck. Hopefully it's not this serious.
