I just installed kW v1 on my xdrive today and have a 4x4 DSC system fault, anyone figure this problem out yet? I'll try and pull codes with my Cobb when I get home to see if I can get anything

Yes. Coilovers are just fine for normal everyday driving. Zero problems with my v1s.

Did you break one of the wires going to one of the front abs sensors?

No the fault doesn't come on until about 10 min after driving and after I shut the car off and turn it back on again nothings there. A cut wire I'm assuming would be an instant warning after a start every time.

I'm pretty sure I figured it out though the car drives straight with no pull but my steering wheel is off center about 30 degrees or so. So I'm thinking from that being off, the steering wheel pos sensor is causing the fault.

The only thing I can think of, is when I did the rear I forgot to mark the first eccentric on the lower control arm before I loosened it. I tried putting it back in the position I thought It should go, but maybe I got it wrong. I'm going to adjust it today and see of that makes anything any better.

If not guess I'll just have to wait until I get an alignment, and go from there

Impact on steering

Had Koni Yellow Sports and H&R Sport springs (TC Kline kit) installed on my 08 335xi Sedan. While I enjoy the overall improvement in corner handling I am a bit disturbed at the higher level of steering effort. I could live with it but the wife hates it.
My real concern is if this is normal. Any input appreciated.

Dude, just buy the coilovers.

Do you want your call to look and handle infinitely better? If "yes," then order coilovers.

Sure, there's all these other options out there - and it's up to you to decide between them. You can read all of the information on the options, and weigh the pros/cons yourself. Beyond that, most of the information you're gathering is subjective.

If coilovers weren't a viable option for a daily-driven xDrive, then people wouldn't buy them.

Going too low does not mess up your AWD system. The people who have had issues, likely forgot to reconnect a wire - or something small like that. Once you're low enough that sparks are flying left and right - then you'll start having issues.
