Thanks guys for your compliments on the photos. I took a trip down to our nations capital for a little getaway with my fiance. Trust me the car is far from clean right now. Being black it's looks extra dirty now. I'll post more photos once it's clean! For now here's one I took today at the Washington Memorial!

I drove one of those on the track for BMW training on the M3. I was extremly impressed with it and really did like it. The only problem is that its not a real sports sedan to me because you cant get a manual trans. That car with a 6 speed would just about perfect.

Fantastic pictures!

If you don't mind me asking, how do you get the colors like that in the photos? What are you using in PS to do this?

Two comments.

1. The car is beautiful. congrats!

2. Everyone needs to take note on posting quality pictures. This has to be one of the best threads/posts of new cars with pictures I ever seen. Well done.

Enjoy the car and many safe travels.

Nice photos, what kind of camera did you use and aperture/shutter speed settings? They look very rich, what post processors do you work with that is if you mind me asking haha. Just one photographer to another. Love the pics

Hey guys... thanks for the compliments on the photos. I was actually hoping to do a photoshoot of another member's M3 but wasn't able to this week. I actually took a small vacation to Washington DC and was able to take quite a few pictures there. I think I took almost 10 gigs of photos!!

But none of those photos you see are photoshopped. I am shooting with my Nikon D80 with a Sigma 10-20 mm and 24-70 mm f/2.8 lens for the car shots. To make the image be able to capture the high and low end of the light spectrum, I use the bracketing feature on my D80. Then using my Macbook Pro and Photomatix Pro, I'm able to make a high dynamic range image which incorporates all my exposure ranges. Any clouds you see or reflections that are on the car are really there and not added. Once that's complete, there are times I'm not happy with the final exposure and then I increase or decrease exposure levels with Aperture 2.1. With Aperture, certain color channels can be slightly modified. Hope that helps!

Here's one I took of the Lincoln Memorial.

And one on the capital steps

So I am headed back to NE from Washington DC and stop by the Connecticut Post mall. When I was looking for a place to park I saw a C63 AMG. I figured I'd take out my DSLR and take a few photos. As I am taking pictures I'm saying to myself.... Something looks odd about it. Is this what really competes with the M3 and IS-F? I thought the AMG was supposed to look mean even when parked. After reviewing my images, I realized that this person just threw on those badges. Thought of was funny. Will post pictures later....just thought it was interesting.

haha lookin forward to those fake c63 photos...

I'm sure people have already told you this but you really do have a talent for taking pictures. Thought I'd share this with you but today I saw the Is-F and the M3 in person and my thoughts were that the IS-F def. does look a lot better in person.

Grats on the car bud

Here are the pictures that I took of the fake C63 that I saw yesterday.. Too bad the car wasn't placed in a nicer location. You'll see reflections of the pole which I don't like. Then again it wasn't a photoshoot The car itself looks nice... it's just the badges that really turn my stomach. I wonder what people are really thinking when they do this kind of thing.

Well took new photos tonight of the IS-F. These photos were taken in the Corning NY area. Yes.. it was a long trip! Had an interesting run with a Porsche Carrera going to Watkins Glen My gas tank emptied like crazy after I was done.
