They claim they will go into production with this Infinity ive always liked some of there cars, but this would take them to a whole new level.

I liked the concept even though I'm not too fond of Q50's styling. Toned down GT-R with premium interior is always welcome, but I agree that it'd need M3 pricing to be competitive.

Not necessarily! Think of how the 2-door variants from AMG or ///M are always more $$$ than their 4 door stable mates.

If Infiniti could bring this car in @ $60-$70k which is what I bet they will, it will go head to head with: ///M3, RS4, AMG C Class.

But it will crush them all in stats! Size wise it is smaller than a E63 or ///M5

Ummm yeah, has the motorsport history of an M3 as well. If you wanna go fast from a to b, there's plenty of options out there probably cheaper than the M3. I'm hardly seeing this as a viable alternative to any M3 enthusiast.

No way this car, with a GT-R engine (and assuming more luxury), would undercut the GT-R by 30-40k.

"0-60 in under 4 seconds" translation... 0-60 in 3.9 seconds. That's far off from a GTR and probably very heavy. Sounds more like E92 DCT M3 competition

I mean, they do have the GTR engineers on tap if you think about it. Sure it's not Motorsport, but unfortunately the GTR is a fierce competitor to all sport car companies. I would not be amazed if this concept does turn out to be a fierce competitor as did the GTR

And I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic about the "motorsport history", what about F1 racing where they have dominated for a couple of years in a row.

Simply saying i don't see where a true M3 enthusiast would get excited about a car like that. Not in the slightest.

Call it whatever you want. I've owned 6 M3's for a reason...not blind badge loyalty. I won't be replacing my M3 with an infinity anytime soon. When and if BMW stops making a product i like and enjoy, then perhaps...

I bought a 911TT in the middle there somewhere and sold it after 8 months, so blind loyalty nothing...

1. Never happen. If they do, they look ugly compared to the concept. I will believe it when I see it.
2. However, if it does look like that, I am sure it will be way overpriced.
