You should also use a Realtor, they might be able to get you some free upgrades plus the builder has to pay them a commission so it doesn't cost you anything.

If you need the name of a good one, I know one, he's called berncohomes, maybe you know him

Stone. Sheesh, Pulte must own Albuquerque. Last time I was there I saw their signs EVERYWHERE. One of my favorite towns, btw, mostly for the food.

Selecting the stone is like putting a date stamp on the house. Just like all the stuff people thought looked cool in the '70's and now you drive by and you can tell from two blocks away when the house was built.

In a few years all the fake stone will look bad to everyone.

I like to stone better as well, although maybe because it is fake it does not look as good up close? If the average person could not tell unless you told them it was fake stone, then I would go for it. Nice looking houses by the way!

I completely agree... the stone will eventually make the house look dated.... like shag carpets, odd colored interior paints, etc etc

Kinda hard to tell in these pics how good the stone actually looks in real life. If it's real and looks real then go for it, but the fake stone usually looks like shit IMO
