Saw this beauty on the way to the office this morning

I've never seen one in person before. Not sure its worth the price tag. What do y'all think?

I think they are finally getting into customers hands.

I think it's a good looking car, I also think the extended range plug in makes some sense.

It looks almost elegant from some angles, this is apparently not one of them. Sounds like they'll be out of the game by year end, no real loss in my book.

I just saw my first two within a week's span of each other these past two weeks. They were black and silver; a million times better looking in the metal than in photos.

I think they look terrible in pics so I was completely surprised on the road.

Great looking car. The front and side profile view are the best, imo.

I first saw it a few years ago when it was first unveiled. I hate EV cars, but I think this is the best looking one of them all. It just a damn shame its a silent EV because I picture it making a snarling exhaust note from some sort of V10 under the hood.

My friend saw one near San Francisco last week. Nice car. Hate the back. Despise the weight.

Analyst are now starting to predict Fisker's demise, according to Autoblog.

Fisker has recently laid off workers. They have yet to receive the remainder of their $529 million government loan. They have received less than $200 million.

Analyst say they are unlikely to receive the remainder of the loan, from increasing pressure to reduce government spending.

If Fisker does not get this money, they will fold. Of course Fisker is denying the reports.

Fisker reports they have delivered 250 cars.

The company also has a convertible and a shooting brake in the works, based on the Karma platform.

I hope they stick around long enough to produce the latter:

a customer of mine just opened his own FISKER dealership and came by to show me the car. its a nice car with fossilized leaf inserts on the door / wood trim (there is only one) from a dead tree / no animal skins used... oh and 1000 lb of torque to tap into from get go isnt bad i would say.

its about wide as a lambo and super quiet. he also told me there is a 8 month waiting list.

Car is still slow for what it is. $100k car that does 0-60 in 6.3 seconds? Kind of disappointing. Although not as nice looking, I'd rather get the Tesla S and save myself $50k.

Have you ever sat in a Tesla? The interior is junk. It screams rattle-box. Might be quick, but it's not meant to compete in the luxury segment with the Karma.

I can honestly say I haven't, haven't set foot in the Fisker either. To me, electric or not, a $100k car should still be fast and fun to drive. Just one mans opinion on the matter, I can't see myself spending that much on a modern car and still be that slow.

Agreed. There's a Tesla dealership in Westwood and another in Newport Beach. The interior of the Tesla S is absolute crap. The interior of the Tesla Roadster is a bit better, but it's just as spartan as the Elise that it cribs -- hard to make an interior feel cheap when there's nothing in there to cheapen.

Even though I drive an M3 and a GT3RS I consider myself a "green" person. My main concern with ANY hybrid is the battery. These cars do way more harm to our planet than the M3!!! The Li-ion or Li-poly or Ni based battery production require several very polluting step with highly toxic byproduct, not even mentioning battery recycling or waste.

Yup! I went to the Newport Beach dealer not too long ago, and frankly given he price and the location of the dealership, I was surprised at how cheap the interior was. The entire car literally rattles when you close the door.
