How about a triple exhaust? I think it's a first on an E92

Actually a 3 pipe exhaust makes a lot more sense than the purely for looks 4 tip ones. (2cyl/tip) The 6 tip actually looks hot as hell, reminds me of MV Agusta. (Though obviously you'd need a rather deep multi-element CF diffuser to make it work.)

This started yesterday case browsing around I found a Quad Pipe thread and it occured to me that 4 tips on an inline 6 makes no sense...

So I said to myself, "Self, you should see what 3-tips look like".

I tried it, found it comical, and away I went....

That is kinda the point but if you cannot at least chuckle once in awhile???? I dunno, go play in traffic...

As for the 6 tips... Honestly I still think if done correctly it would be pretty cool looking and sound pretty nice.

You guess correctly. I am actually kind of liking the 6 pipe option though, if they were smaller tips and done right I think it could look pretty darn cool....

Hey

Out of the 3 exhaust options available here in the UK, I decided to go with the no cost option one! (see Red arrow)

Dealer said that he sold a car with this option to his last buyer who blew his garage apart when he first stated the car. Cool, the wife has been going on about getting the garage cleared out!

Sorry, it rains a lot here and starts to make you go weird...

Heh, nice thread. Here are two more attempts at adding more exhausts.

One with large exhausts, and one with slightly smaller ones. (I prefer the latter.)

I'm sure dual-triples will be coming soon... one per cylinder. That's got to be good for performance, right???

Those are just the Quick and dirties... But yeah, that's my stuff. It's kinda what I do for a living. Photoshop 10 hours a day or so...

If I really put some effort into it I can get it perfect, but for fun at 12am on a Saturday... Not so much.
