jb4 gauge sweep while driving

Anyone have this happe ? Was not in or exiting command mode. Was into a turn my hijacked gauges were functioning as they should and then the shift lights and gauge sweep both happened and it confused me as there wasn't a reason for either. When stopped I entered command mode to confirm o was still on map 5 etc...all seemed normal.

Anyone else ever have that?

Not this exact circumstance, but I have seen them sweep just while idling playing with my OBDII to iPhone connection or something. I will actually hear a click from the engine compartment, sort if sounds like a spark almost, then will see the gauges sweep. I'm wondering if I have a bad ground.

My ground should be good but certainly an interesting thought. Will pay attention for that if it reoccurs

Maybe when I get home today I'll let it run for a while and see if it does it again. I have to mention one other weird thing I saw while this was happening. It was a warm So-Cal day, so like mid 80s F maybe, however, the gauge cluster showed 116F, thought that was interesting.

Also, the clicking would happen every 10-20 seconds, I don't know why I didn't get out and open the hood to see exactly where it was coming from.

Happened twice to me in the last couple weeks. Wondering maybe if my power connection is loose.

I believe it's the JB4 restarting because it also tries to turn off the traction control, which actually turns it back on. I notice it does it when my car sits idle and the temps start going up, like in traffic or at a stop light. I've double and triple checked my connections and the JB4 itself.
