4 wheel geometry alignment - Kwikfit error?
Took my 2007 335D to kwikfit for a full 4 wheel alignment on their expensive machines, it was out but noticed the case car was IIRC a 2008 M3.
Now without anyone just jumping to conclusions and saying its wrong because it says M3, are the settings okay for my standard M3? (apart from stage 2 power mods) - not sure if 335D was on their system? They said they are very similar which i dont really buy. Cheers |

Thanks.
TBH it feels fine really, i had it done last week and have opened the car up. So more negative camber means it will handle better around corners at the expense of tyre IIRC. |

Be happy with M3 settings, your car will drive better.
Rear Camber may be more than your coupe, but M3 camber is same as normal tourer anyway. M3 has LESS toe-in than normal 3 series to make steering a bit quicker. There are no specific settings for 335d etc, only saloon, tourer, coupe all engines same settings. M3 has own settings, better , stick with them. |

So when Phil had m3 settings on his car did he complain about it not driving as it should?
And everyone in the states say that people installing m3 arms should align to their regular car specs... Im confused now... as i was about to upgrade my arms... |

nothing wrong with m3 specs imo...i was thinking mostly of the tyre wear due to negative camber...

I think before you ask for non std spec you need to identify what you are trying to achieve. These settings threads are getting out of control

I had my car alligned yesterday at Aline.
I went with standard 335i settings but had as much negative camber on the back as possible, purely because i have 275/30 tyres on the rear, as a result the back end of the car is all in red. But both the rear R+L are symmetrical. The front end is all green! |

IIRC Kwik shit use the Hunter Hawkeye. Decent kit (as long as operator is well trained). They need to select E90 or E92 with sport suspension (assuming its M-Sport).
You can only adjust the toe at front (due to camber pins on the top mounts). Camber is rear and castor is not adjustable AFAIK. |
