Arrow Warranty coming up on my e92 335i.. Don't know what to trade it for!

I've had my 2010 e92 335i M-Sport for 2 years now and loved every second of it! Been running JB4, DP's, DCI, e85, etc and it's a beast! However, my warranty is up at the end of this year and I don't want to purchase an extended warranty. I feel like it's time for a change as well.

I've been browsing the market lately for everything from 3/4 ton pickups (and 1/2 tons like Rams and Tundras) to used high-mileage C63's to Jeep Wrangler Rubicons. The problem is, I love feeling the power in smaller fast cars like my 335i, but I also love to off-road and have a soft spot for Jeeps in my heart. Pickups are also very appealing to me, but I don't tow anything or carry much! Girlfriend has a jeep that I can borrow so I guess it's not a huge deal if I didn't get one for myself...

My question to you all.. Is what would be worth looking at in the $30-45k range at this current time that would be a really fun car and not necessarily a "downgrade" from my 335i? Used/CPO is preferred, unless I can find a hell of a deal on a new car. Thanks in advance!

You can basically get a brand new M235i reasonably loaded within that price range. I too went from 335i and have no regrets. It's nimble, powerful and definitely not a downgrade (just look at the consumer reports 98/100).

A used Cayenne would fit your bill to the T if you're looking for the best compromise between on and off-road capability while maintaining a certain degree of creature comforts. Caveat would be your budget and finding a model with enough gumption to satisfy the straight line capability you're used to. Plus, you know, big ass high-riding SUV.

If you could narrow down your preferences or give us some basic requirements, that would help immensely.

Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome car (I owned a 2013 STi Limited), and when they DI it and squeeze mid 20's and 330+hp, I could be back.
