what is a 1/1? Anyway, how much are decent apartments where you are? I might goto Boston University for grad school next year and 1 bed-room apartments I was lookin at are 2000+ a month (on Brookline Ave.), quite pricey for 1 bedroom apt. Here at PITT it's 2000 and utilities for a 2 bedroom but split it with my friend.

Decent 1/1 around Boston depends on the area, anywhere between $1200-$2000.

Here is your problem. Near Northeastern. That is a big college in a nice ass area. Fenway is only couple streets down.

Although they have this one place opened now right next to fenway and they had a studio for $1200 bet it looked nice since its new.

My girlfriend is closer than I am to fenway. She goes to Emmanuel so a 5-10 min walk and shes right at Fenway.

Yea, and given its a private college. Too mant students but never enough housing, even if they build new dorm every year.

I was oblivious until the end of Sophmore year, ran out of luck at housing lottery. Got the number 3,400 on the waiting list. I was like F**K it. I'll move out.
Since I don't have a car back then, I'll just pick an apartment nearest.
The only good side I don't have to wake up too early and prepare for class. Just walk out 5 mins before it starts.

Aw damn...i'm starting to miss Boston and especially Porter Sq. Good food there!

I almost went there... My dad, grandfather and grandmother all went there.

Comparing tuition between Penn State and BU though, along with the fact that my major at PSU was more interesting to me - PSU got my tuition money.
