AIM/MSN at work

does anyone any website that will let me get on aim or msn at work? My company blocks myspace, aim, msn, meboo.com...etc. the ITs knows too much.

If your company is actively blocking those messaging service, don't you think they're monitoring your online activities as well?

Exactly. Bypassing Information Protection is a one and done offense here. I work in IT. They know when you try and probably have the other portals blocked as well.

My company blocks everything but my forums. Which Im obviously happy about because thats all I do all day. Otherwise, everyone I know on AIM or MSN should be working also and I dont need to be talking to them.

Tunnel your aim, msn, yahoo, web, gambling, porn surfing, bit torrenting, etc through ssh. I can almost guarantee your company doesn't block SSH. If they do, it can still be done other ways but it's getting harder for someone who isn't a IT geek. That said, it's sorta detectable ... I always get curious why some random guy in marketing has a SSH session open when I know he isn't technical at all. I usually give the people I catch doing this a pretty hard time. Obviously I am IT, but my group doesn't block all these services because we want to, it's because we have been told to via upper management. When you circumvent it and get caught ... and eventually you will ... it comes back on us. "How was Johnny Hairypalms able to even get to that barnyard scat porn!?"
