BTW, the Middle East was not "the worst place on Earth" before WE decided to make it that way in 1948...

Also, what you see now in Iraq had nothing to do with the terrorists -- pure RESISTANCE...like in WW2 and so on.

Living there in last 5 years cannot be compared to anything before there.
I have not been there, but I have lived for many years in the areas where we did similar things...that is why I (and 1M of people of my age) don't live in my homeland any more...
Politics is dirty and you and I cannot do anything to better it.

People, on the other hand...there are the good ones and bad ones that will use any chance to profit off the others...

Saying that the middle east in general is the worst place on Earth is wrong. Some parts of it are dangerous and messed up, but the same cannot be said for the exactly same places a few decades back.

I agree with everything you just said. I guess the only reason I personally think it's the worst is because I leave for Iraq again in Jan/Feb for now 15 months and I will have spent 3+ years of my life there accomplishing nothing.

Who knows how this place will look down the road.....it would be a miracle of things changed.
