I got to drive one from Florida to Maryland a few years back. They are a blast to drive, but no Cruise Control!!!! Fun little cars, though.

I think its more the drivers are pathetic, not the car itself With DR, there is no excuse for anything less than a 1.9 60ft....they should be in the mid to low 8s in the 1/8

Drew, welcome to the forum.

Youll see a lot of people here are just douchebags who have no appreciation for ALL automobiles big or small. All they know is this car which is probably their first. So they remain ignorant.

I think for 19k when they came out, there was no better bargain than the srt-4. That car is just fiercely quick with little mods.

So what if he posted in the wrong forum at first, thats what mods are for. No need to put a saddle on him and ride him like that.

Wheel hop, even with motor mounts its still a big issue.

Over Powered little pop cans are a blast to drive. Always hovering on that edge of control and if you blow something up? No Worries. I had a Mazdaspeed 3 for a day as a loaner when I had my RX-8 and it was a lot of fun. No I don't want one but they are a hoot.
The SRT-4 and Mazdaspeed 3 are pretty different from the STi and the Evo.

Torque steer? Excessive front wheel spin at launch?
