What did you sell to make room for your bimmer? Pictures please.

1994 Toyota SR5 V6 XTRA Cab pickup. idacres.com/sr5

I had this little pickup truck for 12-1/2 years. It was great. I wish I still had it, but didn't have room in the garage anymore. It made for a good down payment on my E92 ($9,750).

I listed it on autotrader.com which worked out really well. It took 8 days to sell. I had a few people call from other states (California, Utah, Arkansas) who wanted to buy it. The one in Arkansas wanted to put a down payment on it with Pay Pal so I wouldn't sell it before he could come pick it up.

It was very reliable. It was actually fun to drive, even through a pickup.

When I get a larger garage and have an open bay I'll have to buy another Toyota pickup.

My former vehicles. Had the S2000 for 5 years, the LR3 for 6 months. Saw the 335i and decided to sell the LR3.

Night and day. They are so different. The rear suspension on the Z3 M-roadster/coupe left a lot to be desired. It actually came from the e30 platform. The MZ4 is a much better package, but I like the looks of the MZ3 better. Still it handled well and the engine was awesome, though you have to really work the S54 to get the big power, whereas the powerband on the 335 is so broad. All of that low end torque, IMHO, makes a big difference in everyday driving. The power is always there. The 335i handles amazingly well, especially with upgraded rubber, yet is very comfortable with the well-balanced sport suspension. The M-roady's suspension was super stiff and unforgiving. The 335 is much more refined and high-tech, but the M was all about being loud and savage. I drove it as a daily driver for 5+ years, and you really have to love a car as impractical as the MZ3 to spend that much time behind the wheel. It was the best car for me at 26, but by the time I was 30, I was getting tired of it's personality, though I never got tired of the engine. I thought I'd miss it, but I really havent at all. The 335 does everything as well or better (Procede next week!), and has many features not on the MZ3 with all the options offered.
