quoted for truth. competitions improves a car. imagine a 335i equipped with lsd...thanks to the g37.

Anyway it definitely doesn't look as good as the old one ( I have one in my drive right now all black & tinted up, so not biased at all) I'll say that and I concur about the noise inside the G very loud above 60 miles not good noise but road noise. All the wind gets into the cabin very iritating to say the least @ 120mph in the 335 I can still hear what's going on, this is how a luxary sports sedan in built. I hope they really fixed that in the new one. But it does better over the bumps than the stupid thumb flats on my car right now. Until I see actual numbers then I'm going to keep shut.
Is the G's engine also loud to you? When I test drove the first G it sounded like there was almost no dash in front of me to dampen the sound. It's one thing to hear the engine that loud when the windows are open, but they were all closed. See my comment #26 on page 2 of this thread...

g35 looks better than the new g37. g37 styling is disappointing.

So a thought occured to me. The new 335i has runflats. I wonder how that negatively affects handling? I would like to see it run up against the G37 again, but without the runflats.

Just a thought...

Well, runflats are ass, that's no question. How much do they effect the car? It's hard to say. Either way, the 335i comes with them, so it only makes sense to test it with them.

Yeah, but if you test both without runflats and the G37 wins in the twisties then I would say the 335i juts can't keep up. I wonder if you change your tires would you be able to beat the G? That's all...

The G37 will lose its "tight" feel after about 12k miles. When i first got my G35 it drove real smooth at first, it handled nothing like the 335i i test drove though...AND i have coilovers, sways and 10.5" iforged on the back.

Problem with the G37 is its NA, takes too much cash to make it compete with a procede 335i.

I hear the run-falts have something to do with that.

i'm not exactly sure the g37 will really outhandle the 335i. it does have about 200-300 lbs on the 335i which is nothing to overlook.

oh yeah, then i remember that we are talking about a nissan supplied 335i on a nissan owned track..... now it all makes sense.
