Displacement doesn't matter, performance (and cost to some extent) does. Are you going to tell me I can't compare a Koenigsegg CCX (4.7L) to a Bugatti Veyron (8L)? Or perhaps you will also say a Z06 (7L) can't be compared to a 911 Turbo (3.6L)?

Those two cars are in totally different leagues guys! The black series is like a Mercedes Benz CSL.

I saw the car in person at the NY car show. Mind you I am not a big MB fan but the car looked sooooooo good. One of the best looking cars at the show IMO. But not worth 160k.

C63/CLK63 = M3
CLK63 black series = M3 CSL
E63 = M5
CLS63 = M6
S65 / CL65 = Alpina B7 ?

there is also a CLK DTM "road car"

I don't even think they are in close territory.

If the Bimmer wanted to beat this one, they would have put in a 6.0l engine, and come out with 750 HP, and blow the doors off it...but that is not on their mind...

Yeah I agree, People say the clk63 is a good competitor for the M3, but I'm not so sure. To me they are for different people and the price difference at least, should tell you that....
