That's pretty far from a proven option. It was just released. Vishnu, AR, iCarbon, all of those throw a code. I'd be surprised if the Wagner could pull it off.

Been out now for well over 6 months, and Wagner reconfirmed in a post on the UK 1er site just a few weeks ago, that none that have been fitted to even standard cars during all that time have thrown a CEL, and given that CEL's are usually being thrown within a month, it could be that they have pulled it off.

If they are still claiming that by the end of the summer (would have been out a year then) I may well pull the trigger on one.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I didn't know it had been out that long. Even though I'm going with a vishnu catless in a couple weeks, I hope the Wagner stands the test of time.

Don't see any information on a catted DP by Wagner, only catless and their intercooler for N54 on their website...

I'm not gonna post a link because this is Cobb's thread and that would be bad form but it is on their website...

Still want to know if the Cobb throws codes though...

orderd the intercooler and ap.. took off bms dp and jb3.. will let everyone what realworld results are with stage 1+ hopefully get it installed and dynoed this weekend.. unfortunately, from my knowledge, we do not have a pro tuner out here in hawaii so it will be OTS maps for me.. maybe COBB could chime in

from their website...
01-07-2011 10:21 am 257 hp 281 ft/lb 100% Stock [Details]
11-30-2012 01:29 pm 288 hp 326 ft/lb Stage1 Sport Beta [Details]
11-30-2012 01:29 pm 279 hp 285 ft/lb Stock 135i MT [Details]
11-30-2012 01:29 pm 310 hp 357 ft/lb Stage1 Aggressive Beta [Details]

i just went off their latest n55 stocker dyno.. from that the stage 1 aggresive dyno they have here shows what they claim for that map... +11%hp and +25%tq ... mustang dyno? pretty sure that'd be wheels, no? its all relative until we get some real world graphs.. cheers

BTW.. BMWs figures are pretty much irrelevant to this whole posting

I would think that +17% would be closer to 310 at the wheels

All of our dynos are done on a Mustang dyno and any numbers are definitely at the wheels.

It tells me you are thinking about 10% drive train losses. I was under the impression its anywhere between 15 and 20.

Yes, estimate 15-20% drivetrain loss homie.. but our cars have been dyno'd by numerous individuals on this forum and its been just about proven that our engines are slightly underrated from the factory (research stock dyno #s for your car) i will try and get it on the dyno this weekend and will post my results.. its a dynojet that i have access to so itll most likely read higher then COBBs... if it only gives me 310whp then thats ok too.. hope for the best right?

But this is COBBs post about their new gear.. and i am optimistic and hopefull that their estimates are accurate.. A few months ago they dyno'd their car in stock form (i posted the numbers above) and then dyno'd it with their stage 1 aggressive map.. according to them it made 310hp and 357ft/lbs - josh just said it was wheels... that equals an additional 11 percent hp and an additional 25 percent torque from their "stock map"... 279 + 11% = 309.69 and 285 + 25% = 356.25.... what is confusing?

dont worry my friend, i will get a baseline when i dyno it so we knowfor sure the results...

COBB is there any pro tuners in hawaii?

-cheers

That's close to what my stock N55 DCT ran on a Dyno Dynamics RR last year.....mine was 254hp and 260 ft/lb at the wheels.

I'm keeping an eye on the AP for the N55.....may go this route later in the year.

However the 2nd part of your suggestion is not an option.

They claim 30 rwhp and 70 tq increase, so a base line of 270-280 will get you 310 at the wheels for stg 1 Agr, looking forward to when you get a chance to dyno, keep us posted
