This poll is open to all engines and F3X models.

My F30 328i unfortunately falls below my expectations at 36-40mpg. I wanted 40-44mpg. Bear in mind these are UK figures, US differs.
I took delivery of my 428i back last Thursday (16/10/14) although I've been driving it around town and just getting use to the car but I'm struggling to get anywhere near the quoted MPG figures. Think the most I've managed so far is 28mpg.....

Almost 8500 miles on my 328i 6MT, and I've always logged my fillups on fuelly:

http://www.fuelly.com/car/bmw/328i/2012/shesser/267998

I voted "exceeds expectations" because I've been able to get 34-37 mpg on the highway consistently without much effort while doing the same speed as usual (~10 mph over the limit to avoid trouble with the law). I drove from PA to Montreal in June and was able to plan on going over 500 miles (did 514, mostly with a/c) on a tank to avoid higher fuel cost up in Canada and northern NY. I think 550 miles is doable without breaking too much of a sweat.

I don't do much "city" driving and I'd call my mix 20/80 city/hwy, so the worst I've seen is 25-26 around town. I toggle modes here and there, and leave it in Eco while cruising down the highway.

Just picked up my 335xi. After a week of all city driving and only getting 3/4 through it's first tank of gas, I'm getting about 20.7 MPG. Average speed is 21MPH. Pretty fair.

In auto cross at the bmw ultimate drive the 228i got 7 mpg and that was running from 8 am to 4 pm basically nonstop.

So the 21 mpg in my 328 is perfectly acceptable in normal driving

My 2014 335xi has about 4,500 miles on it now and so far I've been very pleased with the mileage. Driving from New York to Kansas this past summer, I was able to get just over 30 mpg. Driving around town and to work, I average between 19-20 mpg. I will mention that when I'm not on the highway/interstate, I'm just about always in sport or sport+....add in a heavy right foot and I'm happy to get the 20mpg.

After 3500 km in my 328d.

60% highway, 40% city

I'm getting:
6.1 l/100 km
38.6 miles per gallon (US)

I use eco pro on the highway only.
Very happy with that!

Honestly, I was hoping for more than what I'm getting. Maybe I just need a little more time. Have only had my F32 for about 3 weeks. 3 tanks thus far.

Coming from a Tundra as a daily driver, I was getting around 15.5 mpg. After putting some bigger wheels, that mpg went down to around 13.2.

Enter my semi-brand new F32 hoping to get anywhere from 28 - 35mpg or so. First day was seeing 26 to 30. Of course, this was in Comfort mode. Keep in mind, during this time, I am pushing buttons everywhere trying to get familiar with the car. By day 3 or so, I am now familiar with Comfort and Sport mode and going back and forth between them while driving to work in stop n go traffic (traffic lights). I end the week at about 21mpg.
Start week 2 and decide to do freeway driving to work. Again, I do combination Comfort/Sport modes. End the week at about 25mpg.
In week 3 now and went back to stop n go traffic light route (shorter commute) since I didn't see much mpg improvement on freeway (which is longer commute) to justify the toll road expense. Thus far this week, am at about 23mpg.

Meet expectations? Well, would have liked a little more. But, a heck of a lot better than 13mpg.

Does going from 13mpg to 23mpg justify an rather large added car payment? No. But, momma is happy with a shiny Bimmer on the driveway. Happy momma = no worries. :-)
