High in cholesterol?

And cardio isn't really going to help someone with high cholesterol, you have to change the diet.

I took pics of my dinner last night I'll post later. Steak and peas, salad on the side.

Shrimps are indeed high in cholesterol but it is the good kind of cholesterol. I am not a health expert so don't listen to me. But here is an article on shrimp and why it is ok to include shrimp as part of a healthy diet. It is a good thing since I love shrimps...

There is a such thing.

LDL which is bad, and HDL, which is good.

I read the article pretty fast and kinda skipped over long scientific terminologies and the most important point I got from the article is it is good to eat shrimps, LOL.

Just don't eat too much shrimp, because it is possible to get iodine poisoning.

Never thought to take a picture of dinner. Go to Sea Blue or any of Michael Mina's restaurants and order yourself the same if you want to see it.

Shrimp contains cholesterol, albeit the HDL (high-density lipoprotein) kind, which is the "good" cholesterol.

Yes, Tx and I discussed this.

But boostftw seemed to think it was bad.

Iodine poisoning are you serious?

What can I eat from the sea that isn't going to poison me?!

Can't eat tuna everyday because of mercury...does the same hold true with salmon? Tuna rocks because it = lots of protein and comes ready in a can, which is great for someone who doesn't have a lot of time to throw something together for lunch.

It's not uncommon, but I think it's a pretty high number of shrimp. I believe one way to reduce the iodine is to devain them while preparing.

Yea, I wouldn't eat tuna more than 3 days a week personally. I love me some tuna, especially the health benefits that it contains and it's ease of consumption. Chunk Light is suppose to contain the least amount, which is the kind I buy anyways.
