I've got directions written out and can e-mail them to anyone that's interested.

Here's my personal iPhone 4 converted to white. I replace not only the front/back but also the charge port and headphone jack, transferring the water damage sensors from each over to the new parts.

lol my supplier gets them directly from factories in China, I highly doubt they'd be peddling stolen parts in the quantities I order...

...I've used the phone for about a month since the conversion with zero issues, of course warranty applies.

^^ They have had white pieces available on ebay since it came out. A 3rd party makes them. I have a blue version of the phone

Ahh OK I was just asking because there was some dude that got away with some of the original white pieces (from Foxconn maybe?) before they axed the original run of white phones....

He made shitloads of money but I think there were only like a couple hundred of them or something like that.

I can post a top-down pic if u want; it is dead straight, I was really anal about it and repositioned 3x before setting it

I remember they usually charge 25 buck in china town to jailbreak and unlock for asian lol , but those day are over ..

8 if you have no experience with anything related, 4-5 if you do. Honestly, if you have some patience + experience with electronic connectors (pc motherboards, etc.) it's not too difficult. Just set aside a bit of time and take it slow. I wouldn't recommend the charge port + headphone jack for DIYers as both involve transferring components between old+new parts and it can be risky to do so.

Those that want to do it DIY read this

The kits you see for sale almost always include just the front glass. On the iphone 4, the front glass is fused (by strong adhesive) to the lcd and plastic surrounding frame from the factory. You will NOT be able to reuse the LCD that is in your phone. (Difference in price between just the front glass and full screen assembly is about $100 fyi). I can sell you the parts, but to be honest, kits on eBay cost more than what I charge for the conversion.

Ahh sounds complicated. I wish it was a bit cheaper I always wanted the white one.
