video security cameras

im looking for some security cameras for one of my other properties. do any of you have any experience with this? can anyone point me in the right direction?

i want to be able to check in live once in a while and see what's going on.

any tips appreciated.

Dont put them in the bathroom. You will go to jail.

You need something internet based most likely. Check w/ tigerdirect.com. They tend to have some good prices on that sorta shit.

And many of them have the option to view with iphone or other similar smart phone as well

The Q-See camera and DVRs are pretty nice. Not expensive either. Some of them you can monitor on your Blackberry or similar device as well as internet. CompUSA/TigerDirect is a good source.
