It's almost like you have a trojan horse or malware popping up that dialog. Not impossible on a Mac. See my MAC Trojan Horse thread in the PC/Computing section.

Yeah I've had that happen twice to me. Can't figure out why especially since the sites seemed completely safe. Also can't figure out how to turn it off

not to be as ass but use Firefox. The new beta has multi-touch support and lemme tell you, I will never go back. I believe Safari has it as well but with the plug-ins I've found FF more convenient.
