Surely by 'minivan' you mean 'multi-sports-active-ultra-urban-crossover' vehicle?

Looks good to me but I would never even consider it. Its not a sport sedan because you cant get a stick.

Very, very nice, much better than the last AMG C's. It looks way more agressive but like some of you said, the cost of all that agressiveness might be a little too busy, maybe?

I just got back from putting myself in line for the C63. What they told me was that the bigger dealerships will get a certain number of "spots" for one. But, they could not find the list of how many are already in line. 50/50 for me to get a spot probably. They are going to call me. 6-8 months they will hit the ground is what I was told. PS. They took me up an elevator to a private showroom style garage....CL63, S65 and a frig'n SLR amongst a crap load of fancy metal. A 28 year old guy has all but bought the SLR.

I think it looks pretty sweet. I'm still on the fence about the headlights... sorta too 5-ish... might look nicer in person though.

I think sticker was $450K or thereabouts. There are a couple of very lightly used ones on eBay with Buy It Now prices of approx. $310K.

Maybe I misunderstood him. I was busy slobbering all over the silver and black CL63. He might have said 1/2 not 1 1/2. What's a million here or there to 28 year old millionaires?

I dont know if anyone will believe me or not, well no-one I have told believes me so far. I saw the new C-class parked in Staten Island, NY by Hyland blvd. It was silver and parked in a small side street. I literally came to a sudden stop and reversed just to look at it. I thought it was the new CL. The car looks AMAZING.
Wasnt an AMG tho.

The AMG main menu in the central display allows numerous settings, with "Warm Up", "Set Up" and "RACE" modes activated via buttons on the AMG performance steering wheel. "Warm Up" displays the engine oil and coolant temperature, "Set Up" the current ESP O mode and the transmission mode "S", "C" or "M". "RACE" mode makes the RACETIMER available, with which the driver is able to measure lap times on a racetrack.

The market launch will commence in early 2008.

This is a new color, I believe. Got to admit, it's not ugly. If there is one thing about automobiles I love, it has to be torque.

I think it has too many sharp lines in the front which is kinda of not characterist of MB
and it seems that the rear taillights are missing a top half

agian " the above was all IMHO "

It will still lose to the upcoming M3...the previous MB had more power than the E46 M3 and the M3 still wins especially around the track. I like Mercedes Benz in general and I would own an SL55 if they offered a manual tranny. To me Mercedes has always been like the softer...not so driver oriented version of a BMW.

when have you seen a 3 series look exactly like the M3? That was the case on my C32 AMG and the C2something POS Kompressor

Maybe so. I am almost 100 so it might be for me. I mainly go fast by myself on a freeway or toll road when it is nearly deserted. The place I found the above pics stated 0-60 in 4.2. This car is going to be very quick right out of the box.
The 63 convert they had on the floor was pretty sweet. Magnesium 7 speed paddles. I have never owned one, but this one looks interesting. And it's just sooo torquey..is that a word?.

Kind of looks like a Cadillac CTS from the side in the second pic of the OP's post.

Shouldn't this be in the "Other Cars" section?
