I Want a 2011 STi Sedan

Please talk me out of it...Ive wanted one ever since I sat in one at NYIAS last year. But now i really really want want one and i don't want to have to make more car payments than I already am...but I've done that online configurator thing a dozen times and I past a dealer today and almost went in...

Please talk me out of this...

Friend of mine has a somewhat stock STI hatch and man does that thing feel fast. He went through the gears (what I thought was flooring it) and I thought we were doing 100mph, I look over and we're doing 60. TOTALLY different feel than our bimmers. Very hardcore car, no luxury... or sound insulation it seems.

That car is awesome, and as soon as I'm done with all my motorcycles, cars, house and get the M3 I will be getting one of those. Got to keep the priorities in check.

Worked on, drove around, and fooled around with the 2011's over summer...they just don't compare to our cars. Not fun to drive IMO and ugly.

Werd. I wanted the Sti hatch instead of my current ride(see below). But the wifey can't drive stick nor is she willing to learn and since the Sti is only offered in stick then its no go for her

on the up and up I have her relatively talked into a 2011 e91 328i x-drive. She knows how much I want that car and well since its the last year and the U.S. is getting screwed out of the wagon with the new 3er lineup she is starting to break down.

Interesting comment. You do know what they say about BMW drivers right?

To OP: I'd vote 5dr as well. Traditionally, 5drs have better weight distribution than sedans.

Idk I love hatches but the STi sedan just doesn't do it for me like the sedan does

An it would be a fast dd/winter car cause I'm looking to retire the 1st soon. I'm about to hit 50k
