Bush's tax cuts eliminate the estate tax "death tax" in 2010. Congress is trying to make it disappear permanently, but the Democrats filibustered the bill. If the Democrat filibuster remains successful, the estate tax will return in 2011. Here is an article from Forbes last week that explains.

isn't it nice to give up so much money so that the gvmt can give it to drug addicts and waste it on military actions and whatever else they can think to torch our hard earned money on....

if you own a house, you're almost a millionaire right there

The vast majority of people don't own homes, they're struggling to keep their head above water in a house they can't afford.

With the real estate prices the way they are here. That's why I'm moving in a year, can't afford a house.
