Both. PC because of games, but Windows is a retarded version of the Mac OS. Constantly interrupts you with unnecessary messages.

PC: "Are you sure you want to do this?"
USER: "Oh, now that you ask, I'll change my mind."

USER: "I'll make a phone call. (310) 555 - ...."
SMARTPHONE WINDOWS: "Your battery is 75% charged!"
USER: "wtf?"

haha. Yep, sounds like windows would do, but my 8125 just turns itself off whenever it gets moody, it usually doesn't tell me anything like that. Maybe its sending me a special signal when it won't let me select anything by my email. hmm...

i have a mac. I used PC all my life. Heck i even went to computer tech support school and graduated. I fixed all of my friends and families computers and like PC. I was "used" to the problems so never thought of them as problems. Nothing wrong with buying a new pc and

plugging everything together, installing all the drivers, rebooting, uninstalling added junk, rebooting, erasing added folders, etc...

I never had experience on a mac, and just pretty much scared to use one because of the feeling of having zero control of a operating system. That's because i didn't know anything about mac. Anyway, one day i got a bonus from work ($1500) and though, well, hell why NOT?.. Went to the apple store in the mall and purchased a imac (this was like 6 months ago)

I bought it home, pluged it in the wall and plugged the keyboard in. Turned it on, answered simple questions, and that's it.. Operating system done. I was like?? WTF???.. how are the drivers?.. where's all the added junk?... where's all the rebooting? and why does the screen look sooo hot?

Anyway i was clueless to mac, didn't know how to creat a shortcut... 2 weeks later, i FREAKEN love mac. I will NOT look back. Viruses and spyware, and rebooting, blue screen of death, freezing, drivers, etc... it goes on and on and on... I'm spend more time USING my computer more than changing things here and there.

Mac lover and don't look foward to being prisoner of a 2d world of PC. There are other options out their. Like banks, it's cool to shop around to see if you are still getting something competative.

1 month after my computer purchase, my girlfriend purchased her macbook. We're both loving it and looking foward to leapard.

Love MAC, can't look back to PC.

I went ahead and got a 24 inch iMac about 2 weeks after making that last post and couldn't be happier. This has been the most trouble-free computer I've EVER had!

Yes, the Mac OS is very eloquently designed. I'm not sure what my next desktop computer will be. I have actually gotten used to several of the Windows features, and it's obvious that Microsoft keeps copying aspects of Apple's way of doing things.

usually use PCs... preferred brands are Sony, Fujitsu, or self-made.

but ive grown up on macs from school as Apple donates comps to our nearby school each yr.

I use windows currently on a custom PC. Using Vista now. Works flawlessly. Windows has its shit but truthfully many of the viruses etc. are due to its popularity.

My girlfriend recently got a Macbook for College. So now I use that whenever I can because she basically thinks I know how to use it. I like the Macbook, the software is good but now with Vista theres nothing hugely different between the two.

I've predominately been a PC user, but in college did use Macs for graphics stuff. Will be buying a new desktop soon and am considering both.

I pulled the trigger on a MAC this year and let me tell you, I look forward to leaving my PC at work and coming home to the MAC. Trouble free, no viruses, no rebooting, easy wireless access.

I love how easy it is to work with digital media including Photos, Music, video, everything.

Did I also mention it doesn't crash or ever get viruses? Ever? No unnecessary software is bogging it down. As fast as the day I bought it after loading tons of music and video files. Amazing.

It made me purchase an iPhone. Which by the way integrates all its features much better than connecting to my PC.

Pretty much true.

I am a PC IT guy and I just bought my MacBook Pro a few months ago. OSX is so much better than XP/Vista. I play games on the PC (I have XP loaded on the MacBook but rarely boot to it) and I do everything else on the Mac.

Apple and Microsfot have two very different objectives when they make their Operating Systems.

Apple want you to be so impressed with it you buy more of their hardware while Microsoft wants to lock you into more of their software.

It's much like Ford (MS) vs BMW (Apple)

Everyone moving from windows to mac will tell you that Mac OS X makes a lousy day seem less miserable.

I have a Vista Lap top for work...I kinda like Vista but the latest version of Outlook blows...it crashes ALOT. I have a Mac for personal/home use but I'm also running XP and Red Hat Linux on my Mac. Mac is the better machine (and OS) but Windows rules the world.
