It comes with everything you need. They replace the original strut top nut and if I can remember correctly a bolt or two for the rear damper lower support, but it'll be apparent when you open it all up.

Heavy feeling, not so much. The car will always feel a little portly because it is and a lot of weight is up high with the sun roof and what not which doesn't help the center of gravity. There's a reason why BMW ditched the sun roof on the 1M. What it does is give some legs to stand on. I'm still amazed that BMW literally used sheet metal with spot welded ends for suspension links... That is just unacceptable... The M links which are solid aluminum I believe would really give the car the feel you need for responsive side to side transitions. But as it sits the car is wickedly fast and quick on its feet. You just have to be delicate and fluid with your steering motions, braking and everything to get the best out of the car. Great review OP. I recently purchased the B8 dampers separately (having already had the Eibach pro-kit springs on the car for a year). Do I need any other kind of hardware before I begin the install? I am hearing things about bump stops, the rear top nut etc. I was under the impression the B8 dampers had bump stops built in? Can anyone shed some light for me. TIA.

I was going to ask where he had them revalved, I was told by an old salty autocrosser that I should revalve my billies because they don't transfer the weight fast enough to the front wheels while corner braking. Anyone have an opinion on that.
