But another thing I just dont get is how the 135i is a 4 Seater and supposably heavier yet the 370Z thats a two seater still doesnt put the power the 135i does... I do like Nissan dont get me wrong and Im sure the 370Z will sell easily but this new Z im just not feeling it...

Insideline did a comparo between the two and the Z and 1er were exactly the same in term of acceleration, with different trap speeds in the 1/4.
0-60: 5.1s for both (with rollout: 4.8s for 1er, 4.9s for Z)
1/4: 13.4s for both (trap speed 105mph for Z, 104mph for 1er)
60-0: 101ft for Z, 108ft for 1er
Slalom: 68.9mph for Z, 69.0mph for 1er
Skidpad: 0.97g for Z, 0.90g for 1er

sure my Logic makes sense any genious uderstands what my logic means... the 370Z is a Nissan the 135i is cheaper BMW than your Bimmer so of course I understand your mad/jealous that BMW finally made a BMW thats affordable and can walk E92 M3's with a few mods and whoop 335i's which is why you wish the 135i could rot in hell... so in the end my logic make perfect sense..

Considering that the 370s have barely hit the street and that the 1s haven't changed since the writing of it, the age of the article doesn't matter as far as a comparison goes.

And what you're saying about forum members dogging less expensive bimmers than their own isn't true. I'd have a tough time ranking the X6, 6 series & 1 series in terms of their ugliness. And only one of those is cheaper than my 3 series. And the one that is cheaper is barely cheaper.

In any case, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So if you dig the 1, who cares what we think?

But the way some of you act is particularly why many didnt think the merge was a good idea.. but we all have our own taste in opinion, im sure if i go thru bimmerpost I'll find yall defending yalls Series when other diss and laugh at yalls the way I tend to defend the 1 Series.

As a former 350Z owner, I love the performance and interior upgrades. But the exterior... definitely not for me.

There also those who buy the 3er just to say they don't want the cheapest BMW series, just the 2nd cheapest.

Comparing a turbo engine to an NA engine, of course the turbo (at least the N54) is going to have a lot more low-end giddyup than the NA car.

Learn to read, I never said the 135i outperforms the M3 on a track like Nurbergring (or however you spell it lol) I said itll walk an M3 with a nice tune.

Btw the M3 has always been my favorite car ever... well with the exception of the Zonda. Id buy an E92 M3 in a heartbeat if I had that money right now.

You need to not take this stuff so personally. Your original post made a crack (no egg pun intended) about the Z's looks. So why the surprise if others make similar comments about, the arguably more polarizing, styling of your car. It's not like the comments came out of nowhere.

All of that aside, the 370z is still no joke.

+1...I've taken E92 M3 off the line w/ my 335, but at the end of the day I'd rather have an M anyday of the year!

Also, if you see in this video the (2) 135i are tuned (don't know which tune), but get easily taken out by the M3 who isn't really even trying until the 2 or 3 lap. One of the 135 had a DSC issue, but the other or both had to forfeit due to over-heating (turbo cars).
