First thing I see...............RED!

If the car checks out that is a pretty strong deal though. The CA must have ripped that guy a new one on the trade. I would think they are making no less than 4K.

I wish I wish I wish...I had mucho money and mucho garage slips for deals!

Red does suck,, but it has black leather and Nav.

Are those the expensive adaptive seats too?

No they are the manually operated regular stock seats. The car is a base (does have navi.) Seller doesn't say nuttin' about it except: "the engine on this vehicle is running properly" and other useless tidbits.

But yeah, you can get into a 997 for cheap(er) now. Personally, I'd pay a bit extra and go with a true P-dealer and a real CPO if you do go retail....

Garage List
Red isn't my first choice but I would take it in red. The Flying Lizard RSR is half red and it still looks good.

About what would the sticker on this have been?

Looks fairly basic but still it was at least 70K was it not?

I just ran the VIN. It came off a lease. Serviced at Fred Baker Audi in Bedford OH throughout its life. It was taken in by Dave Walter BMW/Audi/VW with 18,003 miles in Akron OH. It's in their inventory now at $44,290. Somebody's bs'ing on their side or they made a killing on the deal and will give it away. Or all three. Or maybe it's a phony eBay auction. Who knows.

Yeah, in 2005 you could get a base for $69,300. If you could find a base on the lot (most dealers added more options for their allocations.)

You should check prices on used AMG E55s and E63s

I actually would own an E63. Good car. Just a bit, not by much, but a bit boring looking. I have been looking at them. Whoda thunk it?

I am going to email them and see what happens. Just a little sperimint.

28k was way too cheap. There was something wrong with that car. Porsche Cayman S's arent even that cheap yet.

I emailed the BMW dealership asking if it was still available for 28K. No reply.

Someone made a boo boo is all.

Bidding has ended for this item.

No doubt. The book has $41K retail and $35K trade-in. They've been trying to sell it at $44k. Somebody there can't type/read/write etc..

Prices are falling, but when we start getting that low on stuff we'll probably be seeing really long bread lines and lotsa people walking too.....

gonzo, E63/55s are definitely sleepers. They don't attract as much attention. Debadge an AMG and you've got a very fast and stealthy car. Subtle and nice looking. But not something you can easily flog in the canyons; kinda numb chassis compared to BMW, P-cars, etc..
