Focus RS- HAWT! (Warning: Large Pictures)

So I just saw some pictures of the new Focus RS that those lucky European bastards get.

Even though my E90 is only a few months old I'm already thinking about my next car. After I finish graduate school at the end of next year and start my full time job I'll have paid off the E90 and I'll be looking to pick up a second car. I'm looking at a fun relatively cheap car. So far I'm thinking about picking up a Civic Si, as I really like the looks of the current gen and the engine and transmission are a gem. I know its not the fastest car for the money (compared to the Cobalt SS or the Mazdaspeed3) but I think it will last longer and hold up better than a turboed engine. Anyways, after seeing pictures of the RS I would definitely get one if it was available here. The thing looks bitching!

So what does everyone else think?

Just looked it up, it's powered by a 2.5 Five cylinder turbo engine putting out 300 HP, pretty impressive

Still can't get into hatches. It looks like a clown car on roids.

Yeah and all of that power is solely travelling through the front Tyres. That will be a handful on a road car unless it's torque has been caped in the first two gears and it is definitely not a run about for the wee wifie.

Why do the europeans get the sick Fords, and we got stuck with the crappy ones?

This would be great contender to the STi,Evo.

And Ford wants to know why they can't sell cars over here...

If Ford sold that vehicle over here, I would buy it a winter beater.

But now i'm forced to go WRX shopping. Thanks Ford!

They developed a new suspension system that they felt ruled out the need for awd. There's also a quaife in there.

They sell it overseas, but not in the states because they know the europeans won't buy crap so they HAVE to make quality products.

seems a bit overdone with that spoiler, but the overall look is nice. i'd never buy this over an Evo or STi though.

I think this would cost significantly less than an STi or an Evo. Probably mid 20's if sold in the US and it would compete with the WRX, MS3, Si, GTI, etc.

Like the STi or Evo, the wing is there to homologate it for rallye use.
