Pam used to be the shiite at the dirt race track. Spray EVERYTHING down on a car, do all the speedway you want, then rinse with a hose. No damage to the paint, and the mud just rinsed off, even that nasty, sticky clay some of them had.

for you or for the car (the clear bra that is)

Also, dont forget those butterflies too, they make big splash on windshield and hard to pull out of niches.

The easiest thing to do is spray the front of the car or contact areas with Pam non-stick cooking spray.

Once your reach your destination, just spray it off. You can use soap and water or detailer's spray to get the remaining oil off the car.

I've had to do this every time I traveled during the car show season and it works great. Quick and easy clean up as well.

Its not a big deal for me anymore since I don't take I-75 anymore, but when I did I would just take a bucket and sponge and wash off the front of my car every night.

What an idea with the Pam spray. I wonder if that would be much better than a good wax job.

As ugly as they are, a wind deflector on the hood of that minivan would deflect many of those bugs over the windshield.

I don't know if it's "better" but it's much faster. I would leave early in the morning for car shows and would only have a few minutes to really set up. When I parked. I'd just wipe the bugs off with a micro fiber cloth and go back to detailing.
